These are only some of the things that will happen in Salem Quarter and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting over the coming few months. The dates and details for others aren't set yet. Look for the Quarterly Meeting Calendar, sent every month to your Meeting's Steering Committee mem-bers, for listings of other events you may want to participate in. Or check Salem Quarter's Web site, www.pym.org/salem-qm/, where announcements are posted within a few days of the Coordinator's receiving them.
Thu, 9 March- Friends School Science Fair. Friends School, Mullica Hill, holds its Middle School Science Fair 7:00 PM in the Noel-Baker gymnasium. All are welcome. For details, call the school at (856)478-2908.
Fri, 10 March- Salem Quarter Worship & Ministry. The Worship and Ministry Committee of Salem Quarter will gather at 7:30 PM at the home of the Horvays, Mullica Hill. Information and directions from the Salem Quarter Coordinator, (856)769-0066.
Sun, 12 March- Salem Quarterly Meeting. Salem Quarter will gather at 9:00 AM at Woodstown MM for 9:30 program featuring Joe Volk, Executive Director of the Friends Committee for National Legislation. Worship at 10:30; lunch at 11:45 (soup, beverage and dessert provided by Woodstown MM); Meeting for Business at 12:45 PM. Child care provided.
Thu-Sun, 23-26 March- PYM Annual Sessions. Annual sessions of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting gather at the Fourth and Arch Streets meetinghouse. Details are not available at press time; see PYM News for full information.
Local Amnesty International Chapter To Be Formed- Karen Huber of Woodstown MM is seeking to found a local chapter of Amnesty International for the Salem County area.
