PYM Director of DevelopmentEver wonder where the funds come from to support the PYM budget? Fifty-one per cent of it is provided by the covenant, twenty-five per cent comes from investments and bequests, twenty-four per cent from the Annual Fund.
It is important for Friends to understand that most of the millions in the PYM coffers arrived here as dedicated gifts. These funds were earmarked for specific uses and may not be used otherwise. Most of this money was designated for education and care of the elderly. We may use only the income from the remaining funds to pay today's bills, and it pays for more than a quarter of the annual budget.
The Annual Fund ensures that the programs that support the monthly and quarterly meetings continue. PYM's fiscal year begins on July 1 each year, and ends on June 30. Please support our faith community's Annual Fund before June 30.
