These are only some of the things that will happen in Salem Quarter and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting over the coming few months. The dates and details for others aren't set yet. Sat, 2 June
Woodstown Strawberry Festival. Woodstown MM will have three servings plus take-out orders starting at 4:00 pm for its annual Strawberry Festival. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856)769-0066.

Fri, 8 June
Salem Quarter Worship & Ministry. The Worship & Ministry Committee will meet at the home of Bob and Gloria Horvay, Mullica Hill, at 7:30 PM. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856)769-0066.

Sat, 9 June
Mickleton Strawberry Festival. Mickleton MM holds its annual Strawberry Festival at the Little Red School House, adjacent to the meetinghouse. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856)769-0066.

Sun, 10 June
Salem Quarterly Meeting. Carol Brooks Thomas of Princeton MM speaks, starting at 9:30 am, on “When I Go to Meeting My Life Goes Pretty Well, and When I Don’t, It Falls Apart.” At 10:30, Friends School Fine and Performing Arts will also present a program, followed by worship at 11:00, lunch at 12:00, and business at 1:00. Thurs, 14 June
Friends School graduation. Friends School graduates the eighth-grade Class of 2001 at the Mullica Hill meetinghouse at 7:00 pm. Further details from the school at (856)478-2908.

Fri, 15 June
Seaville drumming circle. Seaville MM holds a dessert sharing and drumming circle in Friendship Hall the third Friday of every month, starting at 7:00 pm. Bring your own drum, or spare percussion instruments are available to borrow. For further information, call the meeting at (609)566-4507.

Sat, 16 June
Ministry, Eldering, and Worship. The Gathering for Ministry, Eldering, and Worship will meet at Springfield MM, Springfield, Pa. Bring a brown-bag lunch; donation to cover expenses is requested. For directions, call Jennifer Elam, (610)627-9621, or Marcelle Martin, (215)247-0718.

Sat, 16 June
Moorestown Vocal Arts Festival. In celebration of the meeting’s 300th anniversary and the meetinghouse’s 200th, Moorestown MM holds a vocal arts festival 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Tues-Sun, 17-22 July
Residential Yearly Meeting. Philadelphia Yearly Meeting gathers at St. Francis de Sales University, Allentown, Pa. PYM has mailed registration and information packets; for further information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856)769-0066.

Sun, 29 July
Amnesty International. Woodstown MM hosts the Salem County chapter of Amnesty International the last Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm at the home of Karen and Bob Huber. For directions, contact the Hubers at rwhuber@gateway.net.

Fri-Sat, 3-4 August
Salem Quarter Retreat. Salem Quarter holds its fourth annual Retreat at Mickleton Meetinghouse and the Little Red School House. Friday evening features potluck supper, singing, and intergenerational activities. On Saturday, Jonathan Snipes leads the adult program, “Deepening Our Worship and Sharing Our Testimonies”; children’s program and toddlercare provided. Cost, $5/adult, children free. Tri-Quarterly Gathering is coming!
This year’s Tri-Quarterly Gathering, 28–30 September, will explore the theme “Refilling Our Cup.” Once again it will be held in the rustic setting of Camp Ockanickon, Medford Lakes, N.J. Watch for full workshop/registration information at your meeting, and tell a friend!
