FALL 2001

Like the fabled Brigadoon, a village appears each autumn. It lives for one weekend only, then becomes a memory. Its inhabitants? A gathering of Friends, a small community of 80 to 100 (or so) souls who come together in a woodland setting for dis cussion, reflection, and fun.
Join with those who return every year to the Tri-Quarterly Gathering at Camp Ockanickon, Medford Lakes, N.J., for a weekend designed to refresh and restore our spirit.
Highlights this year include:
- Eight inspiring workshops
- Special activities for children and teens
- Square and round dancing
- Intergenerational games
- Guided stargazing
- Hayrides
- The bonfire
- Music on the beach
Best of all, youll have free time for canoeing and swimming, or walking the sandy footpaths, or resting awhile on your bunk in your open-air cabin.*
It might be that walk in the darkness that your heart will most remember, or the si lence broken by birdsong at the chapel on the lake. Whatever it is we take with us, well be Refilling our Cup at this years Tri-Quarterly Gathering. We hope youll be there, too, as our cup runneth over.
For more information about this affordable yet priceless getaway, call the Registrar, Cindy Cox Crispin, at (856)478-4093.
*Enclosed lodge with running water and electricity available for those with special needs. The weekend includes six meals plus an ice cream social.
