2001 These are only some of the things that will happen in Salem Quarter and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting over the coming few months. The dates and details for others aren't set yet. Fri, 7 December- Woodstown by Candlelight. Woodstown MM will once again be open for the Woodstown by Candlelight walking tour, presenting the 10,000 Villages crafts; there will also be a skit and concert. Information, call Karen Huber, (856)769-9426.
Fri, 7 December- Salem Quarter Worship & Ministry. The Worship & Ministry Committee will meet at the home of Bob and Gloria Horvay, Mullica Hill, at 7:30 PM. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856)769-0066.
Sun, 9 December- Salem Quarterly Meeting. Thom Jeavons, General Secretary of PYM, will be our featured speaker at Salem MM. Members of the Fine & Performing Arts program at Friends School will also perform before worship. Schedule.
Fri, 21 December- Seaville drumming circle. Seaville MM holds a dessert sharing and drumming circle in Friendship Hall the third Friday of every month, starting at 7:00 pm. Bring your own drum, or spare percussion instruments are available to borrow. For further information, call the meeting at (609)566-4507.
Sun, 23 December- Greenwich Christmas Breakfast. Greenwich MM hold its annual Christmas breakfast and worship at the upper (Hicksite) meetinghouse starting at 9:30 am. Information or directions from Judy Davies, (856)451-3768.
Sun, 29 December- Amnesty International. Woodstown MM hosts the Salem County chapter of Amnesty International the last Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm at the home of Karen and Bob Huber. For directions, contact the Hubers at rwhuber@gateway.net.

Sun, 27 January - 3 March- Quakerism 101 at Salem MM. Where did Quakerism come from? What do Friends believe that makes them different from other religious groups? How does Quaker worship work? What about meetings for business? What are the Quaker testimonies, and how are they expressed? Who are the other Friends in the worldin the Midwest and West, in Latin America and Africa? Where will the Religious Society of Friends go in the next 50 years, or the next 350?
Gene Hillman, Adult Religious Education coordinator for Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, will address these questions and others in the six-week Quakerism 101 course at Salem MM this winter. The course will gather at Salem on Sunday evenings at 7:00 from 27 January through 3 March. All members and attenders of Salem Quarter monthly meetings are welcomeat no charge.
