Rays of Light

Thank you for your positive reception to Rays of Light. Many of you took the time to tell us how much you enjoyed our inaugural edition and it meant a great deal. Rays of Light brings news of Friends Home to the families and friends of our residents and to the Friends of the Salem Quarter and beyond. The Board of Managers and the staff at Friends Home are proud of our rich heritage and we are committed to adding our own legacy to Friends Home’s long history.

Our next edition of Rays of Light will be Winter 2002. If you did not receive the inaugural issue of Rays of Light, it means you are not on our mailing list. Please take a few minutes and call Friends Home at 856-769-1500 to give us your name and address. We’ll be happy to send you a copy and add you to the mailing list. If you know of someone you think would like to receive Rays of Light, give us their name and address.

Friends Home Annual Gift Campaign for 2001

On behalf of Friends Home’s Board of Managers, our residents and staff, thank you to everyone who sent us their gift for Friends Home’s 2001 Annual Gift Campaign. We are fortunate to be blessed with caring and generous friends like you. The generosity of our friends and supporters affirms our mission to provide a high level of quality care and service to our residents at a reasonable cost. Your gifts are used to offset operational expenses, unless designated otherwise, and helps us keep our residents’ fees at affordable levels.

Friends Home at Woodstown welcomes your gifts to support our efforts to keep residents costs down and to prepare for the future. It’s not too late to make a gift to the 2001 Annual Gift Campaign. Today more than ever, nonprofit organizations count on the generosity of their friends and supporters. Friends Home is no exception. If you misplaced the Annual Gift Appeal card and envelope you received recently, please call Friends Home and we will be pleased to send you another. Remember, all gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Save the Date

Back by popular demand! Thanks to the overwhelming number of requests from our residents, staff and friends, Friends Home at Woodstown will hold their second Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 8, 2002. Read Rays of Light for more information!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

This has been a challenging year for America, yet we have continued struggle, endure and accomplish. From the Friends Home family to your family, we extend our very best wishes that you may know and enjoy happiness this Christmas and in the New Year.
