he program: The miracle of leaven is that it only takes a very small amount to permeate and vivify the whole loaf, write our facilitators. It is like the tiny seed that sprouts and grows into a beautiful and productive plant, or the 'still small voice,' which although it is faint and sometimes hard to hear, when listened to and obeyed transforms our whole life.
At the Retreat, well explore where the leaven is in our own lives. What is this miracle that God gives? How can our meetings foster conditions that allow the leaven to bring about the reign of God, as Jesus described?
There will be time for Bible study, individual reflection, sharing in small groups and in the large group. There will be activities for children and adults, separately and together. And of course we will bake bread!
In preparation for our time together, they conclude, please pray that the miracle of leaven will be present in all of us.
