Report of Salem Quarter Education Fund Committee

January 31, 2003

cholarships granted for the year 2003/2004 totaled $6,500. The distributions were as follows:

• $2,000 for day school student
• $6,300 for boarding school students

We have left a buffer amount of money in case the July 2003 and January 2004 interest falls below this calendar year. Also we wanted some money in reserve for other educational opportunities should they arise. We do not anticipate rising interest rates in the near future.
