Sun, 24 Aug- Salem MM worship at Lower Alloways Creek. Salem MM will gather for worship at the Lower Alloways Creek meetinghouse at 10:30 am. Wed, 3 Sep- Seaville prayer vigil. Seaville MM meets each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the meetinghouse in a prayer vigil. Focus is prayer for peace and for the safety of those in danger. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856) 769-0066.
Fri, 12 Sep- Salem Quarter Worship & Ministry. The Worship & Ministry Committee of Salem Quarter will gather at the home of Bob and Gloria Horvay, Mullica Hill, at 7:30 PM. Sun, 14 Sep- Salem Quarterly Meeting. Greenwich MM hosts the September Quarterly Meeting, which will feature a program of Salem MMs Mary Waddington reading from her essays on personal mystical experiences. Sat, 11 Oct- Called session of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. PYM will meet at the Arch Street Meeting House to hear and consider the report of the Structure Evaluation Project Group. The report, originally scheduled for Residential Yearly Meeting this summer, is the five-year follow-up on how well the new PYM structure is serving Yearly Meetings needs. Sun, 16 Nov- The Psalms. Betsy Meyer of Sandy Springs (Md.) MM offers a lecture on the Psalms at Rancocas MM at 2:00 pm. The event is sponsored by Burlington Quarterly Meeting; the Bible Association of Friends in America; and PYMs Adult Religious Education Working Group.
