alem Quarterly Meeting expresses
appreciation for Margaret Wood and her engaging presentation at our
meeting. She spoke from her heart with affection and wisdom, testifying to the
movements of the Spirit both within her and in compassionate and liberating
social action in the Republic of South Africa.
he quarter expresses gratitude to
Salem Monthly Meeting for providing for our meeting not only a place
of warm and welcome shelter from the cold, wet weather, but an environment of
friendliness and bountiful generosity. The lovingly prepared food — soup,
bread, cheese, and all — was scrumptious, the Christmas tree, lovely.
