Fri, 12 March- Salem Quarter Worship & Ministry. Salem Quarters Worship & Ministry Committee meets at the home of Bob and Gloria Horvay, Mullica Hill, at 7:30 PM. All those concerned for worship in the Quarter are welcome. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856) 769-0066.
Sun, 14 March- Salem Quarterly Meeting. Salem Quarter gathers at Woodstown MM for story-telling by FGCs Lucy Duncan; worship; performance by the Friends School Fine & Performing Arts program; lunch with soup, bread, and dessert provided by Woodstown MM; and business. Fri-Sun, 19-21 March- Mullica Hill MM retreat. The adult program for Mullica Hills annual retreat at the Burlington Meeting House will be facilitated by Tony Prete, who has led work shops and classes on Bible topics at the FGC Gathering and Pendle Hill. Thu-Sun, 25-28 March- PYM Annual Sessions. Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Annual Sessions are held at the Arch Street Meeting House. Special effort has been made this year to ensure that workshops are sprinkled throughout sessions, and that the event is family-friendly. Complete information and schedule for the four days will be found at your meetinghouse.
Sun, 3 April- Extended worship at Seaville MM. All-day worship is offered by Salem Quar ters Worship & Ministry Committee at Seaville MM (see W&M Report, pp. 1617). The day will start with doughnuts and coffee at 9:00 am; worship begins around 9:30 and continues until about 3:30, with a break for lunch. Friends are invited to come for all or any part of the day. Sat, 1 May- Salem Pot Pie Dinner. Salem MM presents its annual Pot Pie Dinner. Seatings are 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00 pm at $12 for adults, $6 for children, $10 for seniors at the 4:00 seating only. Takeouts, available from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, are $10. For information, contact the Salem Quarter Coordinator at (856) 769-0066.
Sat, 22 May- Gathering for Worship, Ministry & Eldering. Another opportunity for extended worship, this one at Arch Street Meetinghouse, starts at 9:30 am. Worship closes usually around 12:30; after lunch, there is generally worship sharing around themes that developed in the morning.
