he Trustees met in March at Woodstown Monthly to discuss the property entrusted to their care. It was decided to replace and update the sign at the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Also the Trustees were in agreement to have Steve Fisher care for the lawn at LAC, the old burial grounds and the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Sue Price-Redfern and family will take care of the Port Elizabeth Cemetery mowing.
Trustees approved the appointment of Sue Price-Redfern as assistant clerk.
The water leaks on the east wall of the Lower Alloways Creek Meetinghouse continue to be a concern. Torrey Reade will contact a mason to resolve the problem. The floor in the outhouse at LAC needs repair. Torrey Reade will contact Dick McDermott to see what can be done.
Trustees approved the dedication of a memorial stone in honor of Harold Powell. Woody Gross and George Crispin will seek an appropriate stone for the occasion and report back to the Trustees.
Trustees approved the following minute to be sent to the Quarterly Meeting: The committee requests that the Steering Committee take action to ensure that all volunteers serving the Quarter receive appropriate recognition for their service.
The next meeting of the Trustees will be on 28 October at 7:30 in the social room of Woodstown Monthly Meeting.
