Woodstown MM will support the efforts of artisans around the world by selling their handcrafted gifts and home décor. The sale offers a unique opportunity for Friends to invest in their world by shopping fair trade. Shoppers will also learn more about skilled artisans in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The Woodstown Friends Meeting has hosted the festival for several years, each year showcasing handcrafted items marketed by Ten Thousand Villages.
For more than 60 years Ten Thousand Villages has worked with talented artisans around the world providing vital, fair income in exchange for their beautiful handcrafted items. By holding this sale, Friends have a chance to help create employment opportunities for people around the world.
The sale will take place on Thursday, 12/6, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm; Friday, 12/7, from 3:00 to 10:00 pm; Saturday, 12/8 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Sunday, 12/9 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm.
