We are Light-Bearers

Deep in the sanctuary of our heart we carry the Light of God.

Ours it is bring that forth to light the path of those walking through life with us.

Today let our Light shine—
—right where we are in our life’s situations and circumstances.
—right where we are in that seemingly unimportant backwater place;
right where we are in that seemingly menial position.

What is your Light?
It is your smile and your laughter.
It is your genuine interest and concern for another in need.

It is your compassion and your courage.
It is your intuitive understanding of what is needed in the moment.

It is your spiritual strength that sustains and
empowers others on their arduous journey.
All of these are your Light—begotten of God.

Today let us have the courage to let our light shine everywhere we go.
