The Old Schoolhouse at 35 Brainerd St. in Mount Holly, N.J., is marking its 250th anniversary in 2009. In connection with the recognition, the Colonial Dames of New Jersey are seeking descendants of the original founders and supports of the institution, namely: Henry Paxson, Esq., Dr. Alexander Ross, John Hatkinson, Josiah White, Thomas Shinn, Ebenezer Doughty, Aron Smith, Zachariah Rossell, Aquillah Shinn, John Forker, Adam Forker, John Monrow, John Clark, John Bispham, John Clafton, Daniell Jones, Samuel Clark, Earl Shinn, Joseph McCullah, John Budd, James McIlhigo.
