Do not weep for me, I am not gone
There are many ways that I carry on…
On the wings of the first hummingbird of spring,
In the purr of a cat, I live on in these things…

In the deck of cards that is past amongst friends,
In the splash of the pool, in the needle and threads,
On the calm of the lake, in the awe of a storm,
Where labels are made, and projects are formed.

Help keep me around in the way that you live—
Enjoy nature’s beauty, make time to give,
Know what is proper and do what is right,
Have peace in your heart when you turn out the light.

Love your family and care for your health.
Don’t squander your money, but don’t live for wealth.
Serve others, do lunch, have fun and create.
Don’t make excuses, it’s never too late.

Do not weep for me, I am not gone,
For as long as you breathe, I shall live on.
