WINTER 2009
Narcissas PassingLynette Milanese
President, Society for Poets of Southern New JerseyThe rainbow is not as vibrant now,
The sun is a brush-stroke less bright.
The day has surrendered more time
To the stark darkness of the night.
Narcissa painted with joy,
And she created with love.
The palette of color is more vivid,
In Heaven up above.
And she is painting with wild abandon
The bridges we all must cross,
And Heavens wonderful gain,
Is our dulling loss.Narcissa, you will be sorely missed. Thank you for all of your support of the Society for Poets over many years. Your friend in poetry and the arts, Lynette
