 We Speak     for Sondra

art by Judy ScottSondra Ball regrets that her regular Salem Quarter clerk’s column will not appear in this issue of the newsletter. At press time, she had just been released from Cooper Hospital. The lung problems that have plagued her over the past few months have finally been diagnosed as a recurrence of the cancer she fought twelve years ago.

Treatment and prognosis haven’t yet been decided. Sondra expects to be in touch with the quarter herself once she and her family know more and have a chance to figure out what comes next. In the meantime, please give her your support and prayers. We look forward to her health improving, and hope to see her column return in the Summer issue.
